In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month this April, Aransas County Medical Services Inc. (ACMSI) invites you to be part of a powerful global movement. We are bringing Artist Elina Chauvet’s world-renowned installation, "Zapatos Rojos" (The Red Shoes), to our community—and we need your help to make it a reality.

Aransas County Medical Services, Inc. (ACMSI) in conjunction with the Rockport Center for the Arts, Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce, The Purple Door, is officially bringing Elina Chauvet’s world-renowned "Zapatos Rojos" (The Red Shoes) Art Installation to our community.

To create a visual statement of solidarity and we have set an ambitious goal of collecting 200 pairs of shoes to complete this meaningful installation, which will be on display in the Celebration Plaza located at Aransas County Court House from April 15–26, 2026
